Alhamdulillah, my mum just got back from her Umrah! I was so toast, 10 days captived at my own home π. It shouldn't supposed to be that bad at first but my dad suddenly informed us that HE REALLY NEEDS TO OUTSTATION. So ya. I am all alone.
When my mum has reached there, in Jeddah, i am very excited and wondering what will she get for me? I do love collecting things and stuff from other parts of the world! Soooo my mum's trip to there will surely makes me can't hold my breath any longer that i decided to surf the internet about souvenirs from Hejaz.
Sadly, all pictures of souvenirs on Google didn't show much. And i keep saying to myself, there must be something good in Hejaz.. like what the companions r.a bought long time ago? What kind of gift they got for their wives and daughters?
So, time moves pretty fast that my mum safely arrived her home sweet home and i am shocked,, my mum is SO BRILLIANT in buying goodies. Like everything she bought is totally simple yet it means everything about the Haramain. Here, let me compile the gifts she bought :
1. Chocolates π«

1. Chocolates π«
Arabian chocolates are totally different than European and Asian chocolates. The most important thing is they are all Halal. I know, some of u might not one of the big fan of Arabian chocolates for somehow it tastes like the cheap one. But trust me, there ARE some of the chocolates that taste so sensational. π like below, they are all my favourite and i was crying last night when i first time eat it and now i cannot stop!
So this chocolate comes in 2 fillings ; caramel & strawberry. I LOVE THE STRAWBERRY ONE FOR IT TASTE LIKE STRAWBERRY YOGHURT. I swear these are so good π that you should definitely buy tons of it!!
This is how it looks like inside.
Next, is my no.1 favourite. It is very similar to Ferrero Rocher but in coconut version π₯₯!! I've never been in love with coconut this MAD before π! It has almond and chocolate cream inside and being covered with shredded coconut. It sooooooooo gooooodddddd. Btw, i cannot show u guys the inside for i ate LOTS of it and my mum has warned me to stop. So π₯Ί
2. Nuts and dates and raisins
Actually my mum did buy cashew but what to do,, the cashews all in our tummy. π hehe. But about nuts, the price is just same like in Malaysia. Nothing different. Still expensive.
3. Bracelets π«
Eeeepp my mum and i are big fans of bracelets!!! And look what my mum chose for meee ππππ it looks so ancient and look exactly like in Ertughrul πππ i love it soooo muchhhhhh!! ❣❣ as for the gold one, i totally want to wear it for weddings, it looks somewhat " pakistani " and Pakistani are gorgeous. Bracelets are women bestfriend.
4. Perfumes π€§
So everyone, this is totally suits for everybody either man or woman. Especially for men, you can easily gain reward by wearing perfume! Here, my mum picked Raudhah scent Hmmm i wanna cry ππππ. It is just, increadibly beautiful to have that smell in a bottle and keep in your home sweet home. I've been to Raudhah before.. but long time ago la. It costs only 6 riyal. / bottle.
5. Last but not least is, Abaya. ππ»
* i will post the pic of the abaya when i found good background ok *
Black abaya is the signature outfit for Arabian women and it so modest. The best thing about the Arabian abaya is, the fabric is cold, which is comfortable to wear during any kind of weather compare to abaya made in my country ( and i don't know about yours ).
I really hope this entry would be helpful to you through out your trip to Hejaz/Mecca & Medina. If it doesn't, then nevermind! I am just sharing ideas. May Allah protects us wherever we go. Salam π»
